I'd just like to start off by saying thank you to everyone who put on such a fantastic event. I really had a great time. One of my personal best events ever. A lot came to pass for Dokuhebi. Stuff I had been working towards now for a long time. So I thank the staff and all the NPCs for a fantastic event.

Hey Justin,

I've been playing since the first event back in April 89, and I give you mad props for bringing the hardcore back.  You and Gabe were following me everywhere and anywhere to give me a beating.  I was very impressed by all the players at this event, one of the best groups I've seen in a long time.  Now, Kaurath is in just a couple weeks, and I would love to see some of the faces I saw last weekend come down to beat on me there.  We have a lot of action planned.  You know where Cedarcrest is, so I hope to see as many of you there as possible. 
So, thank you to the Avendale staff for running a great event, but a huge thank you to the players for really making it awesome. I had a ball.

            One of the best things about Avendale these days is the group of NPC's we have had, and I am glad that the PC's are starting to bring back the Hardcore to the Roleplaying game.  You my friend are the best example of a Hardcore NPC I have seen in a long time, you have brought it as a PC and now as an NPC, I think it is rubbing off on the PC's and NPC's as well. GREAT JOB.  As I have said before I was especially psched to see you when I returned to Avendale.  A great Hardcore job was done by all the PC's at this event and I hope that that continues, as I have seen in at a High Level from all the NPC's already.  If anyone is available for the Kaurath event to NPC or PC I recomend you go I am sure it will be fun.  Unfortunately, I will not be able to but, please support our friends there, I am sure they would appreciate the help.  I would also appreciate some feedback on my newest character of Togar of the Earth Guard please send me a private missive at togarfirebeard@aol.com

Yeah, the NPCs are the true hardcore players this event. Going into the woods and off the beaten paths just to make it harder for us PCs and just kicking a$$ in general. The fear level is back in Avendale and its so refreshing. I look foward to the event closer to see what evil plot has in store for everyone. Mike, Togar is awesome and I hope to see more of him over the years and years that I will be playing the game. And next season I'll definitely be coming down to NPC Kaurath. I think its time I started chapter hopping again and NPCing and getting Squire Dokuhebi up to snuff and making him a better force to be reckoned with.

FYI as an NPC I had a great time this event also. Though, as you all most likely are, I am super sore, tromping around the woods with Liam in the like was fantastic.

I have heard so many stories of the hardcore days and every time I hear them I find myself always listening and wishing to see that for myself.  Don't stop what your doing as NPC's and as a PC i'll try on my end to  bring that excitement and intensity back that I am always hearing about.  I think thats something everyone should continue to do and strive for, it makes all the things that everyone works for that much more meaningful and I hope I am around long enough to see it return in full swing.
